                    Flourish: To thrive, to prosper, to bloom, to blossom

               Psalm 92:12-15
The righteous shall flourish like a palm tree,
He shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.
Those who are planted in the house of the Lord
Shall flourish in the courts of our God.
They shall still bear fruit in old age;
They shall be fresh and flourishing,
To declare that the Lord is upright;
He is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in Him.

There are many ways we as women of God flourish.

        *Regularly attend church services

                Ephesians 4:12 for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ

                Psalm 122:1 I rejoiced with those who said to me, "Let us go to the house of the Lord."

        *Quiet time spent:
                Reading the Bible, praying, and silently waiting to hear from God

        *Get involved in fellowship with other believers:
                Enroll and attend extra classes offered LIFT, Church History, NT Survey, OT Survey, Theology

        *Set our hearts on "Things Above"

                Ephesians 2:10 ...for we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

                1 Corinthians 13:4-7 Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

                Romans 12:9-13 Behave Like a Christian Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil. Cling to what is good. Be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor giving preference to one another; not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord; rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer; distributing to the needs of the saints, given to hospitality.

        *Grow in our personal walk, so we can teach the younger women

                Titus 2:3-5 ... the older women likewise, that they be reverent in behavior, not slanderers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things— that they admonish the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, to be discreet, chaste, homemakers, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be blasphemed.

                1 Thessalonians 2:7-8 But we were gentle among you, just as a nursing mother cherishes her own children. So, affectionately longing for you, we were well pleased to impart to you not only the gospel of God, but also our own lives, because you had become dear to us.

                Hebrews 10:25 not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.

                1 Peter 4:10 As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.

                Mark 10:45 For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.

                Hebrews 6:10 For God is not unjust to forget your work and labor of love which you have shown toward His name, in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister.

                Acts 20:35 I have shown you in every way, by laboring like this, that you must support the weak. And remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He said, "It is more blessed to give than to receive."

                Philippians 2:4 Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others.

                Matthew 23:11 But he who is greatest among you shall be your servant.

                Romans 12:13 distributing to the needs of the saints, given to hospitality.
