Washed by the Word Church is a non-denominational Christian church that strives to see people come to a saving faith in the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
We believe that the Bible is the inerrant word of God and that all Scripture is inspired by God and is profitable in all the areas of our life as stated in II Timothy 3:16-17.
We believe that the Bible is the complete revelation of God’s plan for salvation and that faith in Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His crucifixion and resurrection…is the only way to be saved from the certain judgment promised by God upon all who have sinned.
We believe that this saving faith is a gift from God as we read in Ephesians 2:8.
We believe, based on Romans 10:17, that this gift of faith comes from hearing, and hearing comes from the Word of God.
Pastor Kon and Connie have been married since 2007. They have 3 daughters: LaChae, Kristi (Brian) & Yvette (Joshua); 14 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren…so far! They have been at Washed by the Word since its inception and are thankful for the privilege of serving the Lord and His people there.
