Hebrews 10:24-25
And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.

What We Believe
We are a non-denominational Christian church that strives to see people come to a saving faith in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We believe that the Bible is the inerrant word of God and that all Scripture is inspired by God and is profitable in all areas of our life (II Timothy 3:16-17). We believe that the Bible is the complete revelation of God's plan for salvation and that faith in Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His crucifixion and resurrection…is the only way to be saved from the certain judgment promised by God upon all who have sinned. We believe that this saving faith is a gift from God (Ephesians 2:8) and that this gift of faith comes from hearing the Word of God (Romans 10:12).

Our Pastor

Pastor Kon and Connie

Pastor Kon Tweeten was born again on March 25, 1975. After finishing his education, he went into his family’s business working as a funeral director. During this time, he continued his Christian education through St Paul Bible College, Moody Bible Institute and Liberty University.
In 1987, the Lord opened a door for him to be part of a church plant in Santa Fe, NM. The next 15 years were spent bringing the message of Jesus Christ to Santa Fe and the surrounding communities. In 2002 Pastor Kon resigned as pastor of Calvary Chapel de Santa Fe and in 2004 his marriage of 28 years ended in divorce.

The next several years were filled with a wide range of emotions. It was during this time that “I learned what true repentance really was. I experienced God's mercy, grace and forgiveness. I came to understand what Jesus was saying when He proclaimed, He who is forgiven much, loves much”.

In 2009, Pastor Kon completed a two-year restoration process through his church. Later that year another door was opened to plant a church… this time in Albuquerque, NM. Pastor Kon and his wife, Connie were married March 2007, have three daughters, nine grandchildren, and one great grandchild. They are forever grateful for our loving Savior, The Lord Jesus Christ.
